On September 26th VALL members Leslie Ashbrook and Ben Doherty of UVA Law Library presented a program at the annual meeting of the Virginia Library Association. Their program, Legal Reference for Librarians: You’ve Got Questions; We’ve Got Answers was an interactive session in which Ben & Leslie debuted two the eleven videos they have produced on legal topics. These videos are available on YouTube and from the law library web site http://libguides.law.virginia.edu/video-instruction.

VLA always holds a gift basket raffle to raise money for its scholarship fund. Vendors, committees and library related organizations donate baskets/boxes/bags. This year VALL contributed a Virginia themed box to the cause. $6,134.00 was raised!
